IT Field Service Technician II
We have an immediate need for 6 month contract for hire IT Field Service Technician II position in Long Beach, CA.

The IT Field Service Technician is the primary IT support for end-users across various office and job site locations. This role involves providing hands-on support for hardware, software, and network issues, collaborating with the Service Desk, and working closely with IT management to maintain a seamless technology experience for all users.
Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to help tickets, calls, and emails, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues for end-users.
- Install, configure, and support network equipment, desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and phone systems at job sites and offices.
- Identify and remediate virus/malware infections and escalate issues as needed.
- Assist in office setups, branch office support, and decommissioning of closing locations.
- Perform “root cause analysis” on escalated issues and ensure proper communication for configuration changes.
- Document service requests and resolutions in the IT ticketing system, ensuring accurate and timely information for team visibility.
- Participate in team meetings, share updates, and contribute to process improvements.
Required Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of relevant IT support experience; 2-year degree or trade school certificate preferred.
- Familiarity with environments of 800+ users; advanced skills in network/system/cloud administration are a plus.
- Proficient in Windows OS, Active Directory, and network troubleshooting (both wired and wireless).
- Strong customer support orientation with excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to manage tasks independently and complete special projects.
- Technical proficiency with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Teams, and Remote Desktop Services.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel occasionally to branch offices for onsite support.
